Tahini takes this smoothie bowl from ordinary to extraordinary. Created by Melissa of @the_queenship, this bowl gets its ultra-creamy texture and luxurious feel from tahini—made from ground sesame seeds. It’s a rich and satisfying treat that strikes the perfect balance between nourishing and just a little decadent.

Naturally sweetened with frozen bananas and a single Medjool date, it also gets a boost from maca powder and hemp hearts—making it a true superfood powerhouse. And the toppings? Pure magic. Tahini Smoothie Bowl | gluten free + vegan

Ingredients

Smoothie:  

  • 2 large frozen bananas

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 1/4 c almond milk

  • 1 Medjool date

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla paste

  • 1 tbsp maca powder

  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts

  • 1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan salt

Toppings:

Instructions

  1. Add all smoothie bowl ingredients to a high-powered blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
    Tip: Since there's not much liquid, using a tamper can help keep everything moving.

  3. Pour into a bowl.

  4. Add the suggested toppings—or customize with your favorites!
